Regulated industries are where I do my best work

When somebody else is already asking you for proof — an auditor, a client, a regulator — the conversation gets easier. You know why the security matters, and I know what the paperwork has to look like.

CPA & accounting firms

You are held to the IRS cybersecurity guidelines whether or not anyone audits you this year. I build to them.

Healthcare

The most demanding ground there is. I am HIPAA compliant and so is every vendor I use, so I can sign the agreements your practice needs.

Legal

Firms already know they have to be protected. What they usually need is someone to prove it and keep it that way.

Is this a fit?

Around twenty computers is the sweet spot

But some of my favourite clients started at ten or twelve and grew. If you are on the way up, come in early — it is far cheaper to build it right than to untangle it at forty seats.

One exception

Defense work with citizenship requirements

Operational military contracts require cleared, US-citizen personnel, so I do not take that work. If that is your world, I will tell you straight away rather than waste your time.
